There are block-out curtains for the deepest sleep and the room opens onto a balcony and superb views over the rim flow pool and beautiful bushveld and then onto the spectacular Vredefort Dome and the Vaal River in the distance below. A black granite tiled bathroom is fitted with a bath tub, separate generous glass-doored shower as well as a toilet and wash basin. Directions from Gauteng
Take N1 south to Bloemfontein
Pass through Grasmere toll
Take Parys offramp
Turn Right towards Parys
Drive approximately 20km to Parys
Enter Parys and follow main street – at four-way stop turn right, continue down the hill approximately 500m and then take “dog-leg” left at Pines Antiques store
Follow road past shops/restaurants and through 2 stops
After about 1km at 1st traffic light turn right to Potchefstroom (and Fochville) – just before the Sasol garage on the left.
Travel 2km (back over the Vaal River) and turn left into the R53 to Potchefstroom.
Follow road for just over 20km. Pass Buffelskloof community police station on left.
Turn left into road to Schoemansdrif (clearly signed) – dirt road
Follow road about 10km
Misverstand Farm is on on left – clearly sign-posted “MISVERSTAND”.
Go through gate and head straight up hill for about 2 km, staff house etc on left and water tanks etc on right. At top of hill turn to left and follow road.

50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
The remaining amount is to be paid 14 days before arrival.

Notes
Accommodation includes breakfast, coffee, tea, beer, ciders, and soft drinks. Dinners are usually a 3 course meal at an extra cost. We are fully licensed and any other wine or spirits can be ordered and settled on site. Sunset Drives including snacks are also available. All rooms exclude once-off cleaning cost of R 350.
